We are modifying our Inclement Weather Policy to address when FCPS changes their operating status to be “virtual learning”. Since we cannot operate in a virtual mode, when FCPS goes to virtual learning, we will rely on the school offices operating status.
If FCPS announces “virtual learning” and school offices are open, we will be open. If FCPS adds a delayed opening to the “virtual learning” status, we will be open with a delayed opening. See our Delayed opening schedule below.
If FCPS announces “virtual learning” and the school offices are closed, all Katydid preschool classes are canceled.
Therefore, for Thursday, January 20th: FCPS has changed their operating status to be “virtual learning” with a delayed opening – The school offices will be open. Because the school offices are open we will be open, but will operate our delayed opening schedule. See our delayed opening schedule below.
