TINY TOTS CLASS INFORMATION:
Tiny Tots is our parent-child class for two- and three-year-olds. Our Tiny Tots Program typically is held in several sessions each year from September to May. These classes are held inside the Frying Pan Park Schoolhouse. For questions about any of these classes or sessions, please call us at (703) 689-3104.
Our Tiny Tots work on socialization and language along with fine and gross motor skills. Each class typically includes circle time, fine and gross motor activities, and crafts. Adult attendance and participation is required and moms, dads, grandparents or other caregivers are welcome!
We have expanded the age range for our Tiny Tot classes from 18 months to 42 months. We currently offer classes for 2 different ages: Classes for children 18 months to 28 months and classes for children 24 months and older. Both classes will have the same format, but some activities will differ.
We’ve added more classes to give you more opportunities for your Tiny Tot! Check out the current class offerings and Registration Links.
In our traditional ‘Tiny Tot Activity Time’ classes, enjoy arts, crafts, songs, circle time, puppetry and games with your child. Classes are held at the Old Floris Schoolhouse at Frying Pan Park.
In addition to our traditional Tiny Tot Activity Time classes, look for our Tiny Tot Music and Movement classes. In our Tiny Tot Music and Movement classes, enjoy songs, circle time, coordination, and movement activities. All classes will be held inside the Schoolhouse for the winter session.

Tiny Tots Weather Policy
INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY – TINY TOTS:
If Fairfax County Public Schools are delayed, our classes will NOT be delayed and will start at the regular time:
- Katydid Tiny Tots 9:30am class will meet at 9:30am
- Katydid Tiny Tots 10:30am class will meet at 10:30am
If Fairfax County Public Schools are closed:
- All Katydid Tiny Tots classes are cancelled
If Fairfax County Public Schools close early:
- All Katydid Tiny Tots Classes take place as scheduled.
